Dear Pete,

I have to say this week has been absolutely horrendous, not least because the paperwork for the letter of credit for Egypt has turned out to be all wrong coupled with the fact that Andrea is on two weeks holiday!!

As you will appreciate I have £400,000 hanging on this paperwork and I have to say, if it had not been for Pat doing the most wonderful job in getting the replacement paperwork sorted – I would probably have had a breakdown this weekend!!!!

I don’t know what you pay Pat but whatever it is she is worth double!!
Please thank her most sincerely from me and I have to say you are very lucky to have an employee like her, she is a credit to your business.
